Garbage chauffeur?
We’ve had so much snow here this year, it’s almost unbelievable. I don’t remember having this much snow since I was a kid.
Well in the north part of town where my stepdad’s parents live, they still pick up garbage from the back alley. In my part of town, each household has a garbage bin that we roll out to the front curb every week. This way the garbage truck doesn’t have to deal with all the snow in the alleys.
My stepdad’s father, he doesn’t walk his garbage out to the back like everyone else. He drags it through the house out the front door, into his nice car, and drives it around the block to the back and dumps it in his alley where it gets picked up every week. He says it’s easier that way.
I think it’s time to go over there and shovel his back walk for him.
