Things I LOVE
I’m going to be positive today. Lots of times I write about things that I hate, but this time I’m going to list some things that I love just so I don’t seem like such a grumpy bum.

I love when my kids hug me. When my one year old wraps his little arms around my neck, I just want to squeeze the crap out of him and never let go! It’s the coolest feeling in the world. My daughter asks for hugs and kisses about 50 times a day which is awesome, but I feel guilty sometimes because it gets a tad annoying by the 49th time. Even so, I savour every second of it because I know it won’t be like that forever. I’m sure there will come a time when they won’t even want to be seen with me because I embarrass them.

I love the smell outside after it has rained. There’s just nothing like it. Too bad they couldn’t bottle that smell and turn it into an air freshener. I’d spray that sucker around my house every hour. Actually, I’d probably wear it as perfume. I also love new car smell. Who doesn’t love that?

I love to laugh. I’ll spend hours on YouTube watching funny videos. I love watching funny movies and TV shows. I especially love to laugh with my kids and the rest of my family. I’m lucky that I have a family with a great sense of humour. I usually have more fun with them than I do with my friends. Sorry to any friends who happen to be reading this!

I love Gerard Butler. Period.

I love when my kids fart. I don’t know why and that probably sounds pretty strange, but to see the look on their faces while they do it is priceless. It’s like they have no idea that they’re ripping one. That or they just don’t care. It’s funny.

I love Pride and Prejudice, the original BBC movie with Colin Firth. I love Colin Firth too by the way! The newer version with Kiera Knightley is good, but nowhere near as awesome as the first one. I could watch that movie to the end, then start again right from the beginning and keep doing that all week. Most people think I’m a dork because of that, but I don’t give a shit!

I love any time after 9 P.M. because that’s when my kids are in bed. I love those little bums to death, but they can be pretty exhausting. I enjoy my quiet time immensely and I’m not afraid to say it.

I love the smell of gasoline. Not sure why but I do.

I love the feeling of a little baby kicking and rolling around inside you. It’s so cool to be able to have a bond with a little tiny peanut you’ve never met. It’s mind boggling really to know that you created those little hands and feet that you feel moving around inside and keeping you awake at nights.
There are a lot more things that I love, but I’ll save those for another day…cause I can.
