My poor baby
My 2 year old son got sick on Thursday. He was vomiting and having diarrhea constantly and developed a horrible fever. It got so bad that he couldn’t stand or walk on his own and his eyes were sunken in.
I took him to the hospital Saturday afternoon and they admitted him right away. They pumped him full of fluids but wanted to keep him overnight. They let us go the next night but only because I insisted he would be alright at home. I’m his mom and I just know these things 
Of course I was right, but he’s still on the mend a few days later. I didn’t realize how bad it was until after the fact. He was severely dehydrated and it didn’t take long at all for him to get to that stage. Those tiny little bodies can only handle so much.
My advice for you if you have a sick baby is not to wait to get medical attention! Also, if you know you’re going to be staying at the hospital for awhile, bring toys and videos! I don’t know what I would have done without his large collection of Baby Einstein DVD’s.
